Darley Abbey Project

Our clients are a retired professional couple, who have lived in their Darley Abbey home for approximately 30 years. They recently replaced the gas fire and surround in their living room, which has inspired them to update the room as a whole. A new staircase is also planned, which will involve fresh decoration to the hallway and landing. Continue reading to see this lovely transformation to their beautiful home.

Living Room

The brief was to retain the dresser, corner cabinet and the built-in cabinetry, along with their three paintings. An overall updated, stylish and lighter look to the room was required and in-keeping with their taste.

New seating was required in the form of a 3 and 2 seater sofa’s and an armchair. We chose the fabrics and collaborated with our supplier, PF Collections, in the development of the design. The result was the creation of some beautiful bespoke sofas’ and an armchair. We chose some striking scatter cushions and a Shetland Fern throw to compliment the seating.
