Examples of recent interior design projects

Clare has selected some recent interior design projects, which gives a flavour of what you can expect for your own interior design project.

Results of the auction house project

This property was brought at an auction and needed fully renovating as no improvements had been made since the 1960’s. Twelve rooms were designed and project managed by Clare Holland Interior Creations. The brief was to be sympathetic to the character of the property and bring in a modern twist.

Before and after photos of the Venice project

This is a two bedroom property owned by a single middle aged male. The brief was to incorporate his Venice framed print into the Lounge design. He requested both bedrooms be designed, the second bedroom to be occasionally used by his brother and all rooms to look bigger and brighter and more welcoming.

Margaret from Matlock project - Part one

This beautiful stone built home, with indoor swimming pool and wonderful views; is situated in Matlock, Derbyshire. The first part of the project was to reupholster the two small sofas in the snug. Grey tones for the fabric were chosen, to compliment the cream and grey marble fire place and wooden flooring. The sofas now look new and sophisticated.

We had the pleasure of transforming a 1930's house, into a light, spacious and stylish home, ready for the sales market. The first stage was to transform one of the under stairs cupboards into a practical cloakroom. Below are the before and after photos of this amazing transformation.
